Brief, candid and concise coverage of almost all the events leading to the emergence of Pakistan. The author himself was a witness to most of the happenings; the Hindus bigotry the hidden plans in the mind of last Viceroy Mountbatten & the success of Pakistan struggle amidst Sikh aggression constitute the primary contents of the book. After reading the book I'm more enlightened with the hardships faced by our ancestors in achieving Pakistan. Without those selflessly devoted people such as Quaid e Azm, Liaqat Ali Khan and the author himself (Chaudhry M.Ali) the dream of M.Iqbal of an independent homeland for Muslims of subcontinent couldn't come true.
